Crossroads - My Path!

Sometimes life brings us at such crossroads that we need to be cautious & decide to opt the right road. Plumping for a path, randomly, would lead us nowhere.

Knowing what ignites your passion, deciding, with your heart to guide you, 'will power' to make hard choices & resist excuses - this may lead to 'your' right path. But beware if you are not excited about it, its not the right path.

Some roads may be misleading. They may shine as bright but may not be the best ones. Be Alert!

In this journey, we meet several people, on our way. Buddies may be some, some just aquaintances, some come really close & will connect with you, some just not right ones to be with. I am not using the word 'enemy' here, people may be hostile, but why make enemies. I would rather ignore such hostility & move ahead!

Sometimes some beautiful paths can't be discovered without getting lost. Its fun right? Once in a while just heading & keep moving, exploring on the way!

They say "Wisdom is knowing the right path to take, Integrity is taking it" - but for me wisdom is variable - what makes sense to me wouldn't make to you, its subjective. Again, integrity - if you are one who follows ethics, a strict moral code, then yes!
But if you are a 'vagabond', all these things don't matter. You will always find something to move on for. I guess theres some mystical sense to being one too!

Sometimes theres also fun in going where theres no path - And 'we leave a trail!' - guiding many of our kinds in their journey. Faith and Fear - two alternatives here! Faith - you have within you - your abilities, Fear - thats an unpleasant emotion, right? We have it even though we don't want to. How can you simultaneously trust & not trust. Its either the Highway or Myway - so overcome these fears you have.

Know well what leads you forward & what holds you back. No matter how slowly you go do not stop. Rest assured, you will find your destination & complete this beautiful journey of LIFE!

    Jui, its beautiful wrire up.. One goes through such situations on day today basis.. Some times, knowingly or unknowingly, we may take a wrong path on crossroads, but being desicive is very important. Some times we take calculated riscs to reach the destination.. They say " Ships are safe in the harbour, but they are not meant for that" One who will start the journey with the determination, will surely reach. So every one has to keep on moving.

    Aptly written Jui. Choosing the proper path which may prove wrong or right but being responsible for the walk on it is equally important.

  And 2024 ends..... Moira : Bound to happen! Chapter - 1.

She was sitting on the bench under the huge tree. Its extensive branches covered few more benches around. The park was a hangout place for teenagers. It was a playground for children and a perfect site for the exercise enthusiasts. People jogged, wearing headphones, determined to shed those extra kilos and be fitter, sticking to their new year resolutions, was a familiar sight here.  Yuga wasn't feeling the vibe today. She had left home as usual, early in the morning, in her tracks and tee to run a few miles, but after three rounds she just sat down on the bench. What's your plan?

 "You've to score good grades at school!" "You've to do your Olympiads!" "You need to have a co-curricular activity or some sports activity!" "You should be able to dance or sing or play a musical instrument!" Oh my my! So much pressure on these little one's learning to adapt and traverse the lanes and by lanes of this complicated world. "But its a rat race! He/she needs to figure it out sooner. Studies, career, universities, the stress builds up as they advance into their grades (classes), isn't it?" Yes, true. It's a tough task for the coming generations. Population is ever increasing. Even though the colleges and courses are increasing in numbers but we have no say on the quality of education they impart. Also the leading universities and colleges are always the first priority, obviously. So the newbies are looked down upon. Also the reservations hinder the paths of many. Well, so what score is a good enough score...
