Celebrations!
"The more you celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate" - Oprah Winfrey.
There are hundreds of reasons why we celebrate and rejoice. We celebrate birthdays, naming ceremonies, festivals, marriages, new years, success, wins. Everyone has his own way of celebrating. Some people like lavish parties, some like to drink and eat, some like to go on vacations, some like it low key. You opt for anyway to celebrate, but the important thing is 'jubilation'. Say aloud that you are happy, tell the world the reason for the frolic. Celebrate every tiny victory!
Celebrating is also a way to say Thankyou - to the people responsible and to the opportunities life gives you. Celebrating is showing gratitude. sharing your happiness with others so that it multiplies further.
Celebration is also a way to make memories. You celebrate with your family and friends, you chat, you eat together, dance and make merry, you click pictures - you cherish these moments for a lifetime!
Whenever you are sad or feeling depressed you go back to these memories and uplift your mood. We feel relived that we had our share of enjoyment so now we are ready to face some lows too.
Celebrating your work is a better way to live. It lessens the pressure and makes it easy to be done. There are going to be hardships, so when you redeem something make some time to celebrate.
Monotonous life is quite boring, right? So stop once in a while and celebrate without a reason. Celebrate - just to meet and greet your loved ones. Celebrate - just because its Friday. Celebrate - just to get away from your sorrows and worries.
A good life is a collection of happy moments and 'celebrations' add up to these.
Life is what you celebrate - all of it - even its end! Yes, celebrate 'death' too. For the person who has lived his life - contented, with his share of success and failures, his achievements. He has given us our share of happiness when alive. So celebrate that too!
Celebrate your failures too! They are also the milestones which guide and prepare you on the road to success. You may raise a toast and tell yourself that you have put in efforts, tried your best, 'you will succeed - theres always a next time!'.
By celebrating we mark it as a special day. We keep going back to it, revisiting - feeling contented and happy about the achievement.
So friends, Life is short - wear your party pants and Celebrate!
JUI.
