Your point of view!



While watching a new drama series recently, I came across a very fresh and engaging plot. It sort of gives me an 'adrenaline rush' to watch the episodes. A murder mystery, a thriller, a romantic side to it, a chaos of relationships ( But not the regular boring Saas-Bahu - Saga, obviously!), a world of ups and downs, topsy -turvy twists in the story.... Ah! I am loving it!

As a blogger, nowadays I have a new point of view while watching or reading stories.....What exactly the writer must have thought? How exactly he must have got this idea? How could he imagine this twist? Going through the tangled and messy conversations of characters, their beautiful dialogues and unique feeling you get after hearing them.

Your heart skips a beat when you hear something like - "The time I needed to fall in love - it was only 0.2 second. Its the love you fall in - love at first sight"... Your heart aches when you hear the 'lead' in an emotional scene say "Studying was hard, but watching my mom having to support me was even harder - Thats how I came this far"....You seem to ponder over such a thought "We can generally predict the start of things. But we cant generally predict the end of them". Ah! Thats deep!
This is the power of imagination and magic of words. They leave a scar or a deep impression on your mind.

When you watch something really inspiring you go back to work full of positivity and rejuvination.

This line has really left an impact on mind recently - "In order to hide a big lie people sometimes - confess a small truth"... though cliche it sounds - isnt it true? It comes from everyday experiences - Its really tough to analyse or read someones mind.

Sometimes you presume so much and take things for granted - "I thought I was the only who was full of regret. I thought I was the only one who was beating myself up"..... You need to address the issue - confront!

You wish to fall in love again when you hear something like "My life was a series of days for me to fall for you again and again. Even at this very moment, I fall for you again!".....Goosebumps!

How does a writer make you believe in everything he is saying? Its sometimes false - a lie, its sometimes an illusion - yet you fall for it. Thats the beauty of it!

Some characters change your life - make you make changes in your life's decisions. They are so 'live' that you actually start living with them. Sometimes the story is so engrossing that you tend to watch it for hours - just to know what happens next.... you just cling to it.....You are addicted!

There are certain times you want to change the climax of the story. You want to interpret it in your way and decide a different ending to it. You weigh the things writer has put up Vs. your lifes experiences - and mend the story, which would make you happy in your mind.

All in all - watching something good distracts you from your lifes problems ateast for sometime. Taking you into a virtual world and watching things - as an outsider - without directly affecting or hindering them - making a point of view of your own!

  And 2024 ends..... Moira : Bound to happen! Chapter - 1.

She was sitting on the bench under the huge tree. Its extensive branches covered few more benches around. The park was a hangout place for teenagers. It was a playground for children and a perfect site for the exercise enthusiasts. People jogged, wearing headphones, determined to shed those extra kilos and be fitter, sticking to their new year resolutions, was a familiar sight here.  Yuga wasn't feeling the vibe today. She had left home as usual, early in the morning, in her tracks and tee to run a few miles, but after three rounds she just sat down on the bench. What's your plan?

 "You've to score good grades at school!" "You've to do your Olympiads!" "You need to have a co-curricular activity or some sports activity!" "You should be able to dance or sing or play a musical instrument!" Oh my my! So much pressure on these little one's learning to adapt and traverse the lanes and by lanes of this complicated world. "But its a rat race! He/she needs to figure it out sooner. Studies, career, universities, the stress builds up as they advance into their grades (classes), isn't it?" Yes, true. It's a tough task for the coming generations. Population is ever increasing. Even though the colleges and courses are increasing in numbers but we have no say on the quality of education they impart. Also the leading universities and colleges are always the first priority, obviously. So the newbies are looked down upon. Also the reservations hinder the paths of many. Well, so what score is a good enough score...
