Home Alone!
Everyone has their own idea of spending time alone. The 'Me time', the 'at leisure' time.
Some would love to sit by the window sipping hot coffee from their favourite mug (some would prefer tea, ofcourse); reading a book, some would watch their favourite TV programs or movies, some would want to try their hands on new recipes, some would like to binge on their favourite foods - chocolates, pastries... some would want to shake a leg on a favourite song or latest number, some would want to 'crush some candies' or 'pop some bubbles' on their mobiles.
'The time you enjoy wasting is not really wasted'.
Usually a Sunday is the day you are at leisure and if you are lucky enough you could be home alone. No worries for packing tiffins, cooking, getting ready for work, cleaning, running errands - up and down the house.....
For the productivity to boost up you surely need some leisure once in a while, to recharge yourself enough.
Leisure could be listening to music for few hours or travelling around for few days - if you are lucky enough.
" We all need empty hours in our lives or we will have no time to create or dream" - Robert Cales.
Leisure would be doing something useful or just relaxing or laying on your bed - doing nothing. Taking long walks in your garden or park, strolling along a footpath on a busy road - anything that makes your mind peaceful could be your 'me time'.
Laziness and leisure are two different things, though. Leisure is after a day's hard work, while laziness is an excuse to skip your work. Taking a break is leisure!
Happiest people are the ones who use leisure as a means of self development - playing a sport, learning something new, interacting with people, reading books - adding to your knowledge.
The busier you are, the more important 'the leisure' is to you.
Luxury is not always owning lot of valuable things, it could also be having leisure time - to spend as and how you want. Work hard throughout the week and enjoy your leisure weekends!
After working hard for years, you retire at a certain age, this would also be a kind of leisure - a phase where you have 'been there done that'- now is the time to sit back and relax, do the things you have missed all this while.
If you dont want to get totally mad, frustrated, angry and hateful - you need to have some leisure time - be 'home alone' once in a while and enjoy 'your time' the way you want.
