 "Here's your envelope, Sharon. I had stayed late at office yesterday. And when I was leaving I found this in our lobby. It has your name on it. Thought it was something important so handing over to you", Nathan explained the episode.


"Why is he pretending? Did he not place this envelope on my desk? Ahh! He must be embarrassed in front of everyone. He doesn't want to have an open office romance. Right! It's not appropriate too", Sharon's thought train had to brake suddenly when Alia elbowed her for gawking for eternity at Nathan and making it obvious.

Sharon came to her senses and took the envelope from Nathan. Nathan smiled and left for his cabin.

Sharon kept staring at his back for sometime. "Hey are you crazy?", Alia elbowed her once again. "Are you into Nathan? I had guessed, but you making it too obvious bro", Alia said.


Sharon cleared her throat and gestured Alia to shut up.

"Dude now tell me what's cooking? What's this envelope about? And what's the scene?", Alia interrogated her.

"Alia, man, there's nothing cooking and all", Sharon was trying to refrain from sharing but then she thought that Alia would surely help her solve the puzzle.


"Did you see Nathan putting this envelope on my desk yesterday, Alia? Arey nai, you were with me for lunch and then you and Abhay. Wait....what's cooking between the two of you, first tell me that?", Sharon said.


"I like Abhay, usmei kya cooking. Are you that slow bro? You didn't realise this until now? Tchh! Sharon, you are in your own world ya", Alia said, clicking her tongue.

"Sorry, man, but please tell me do you have any idea who put this on my desk? We are only three of us in here. Other desks are on that side. So they wouldn't know. Hey! And did you see anyone keeping this bandaid yesterday?", Sharon asked pointing the bandaid on her finger.

"Oh! It's not yours? It was lying on the table when I saw. Had been to Nathan's cabin to submit the file and when I came back it was here", Alia explained.


"Oh! So Nathan was in the cabin? So the bandaid guy is someone else too?", Sharon murmured.

"Bandaid guy? Sharon just tell me in detail", Alia said.

"Alia, I thought it was Nathan who was doing things for me. Remember the Mcdonald breakfast the other day? This bandaid, the exhibition invite, and also the fragrance of lavender freshener in our lobby. All this, someone is doing it for me and it's not Nathan?. I thought Nathan was just shy of sharing his feelings in the office in front of all. But then I was wrong", Sharon was sad.


She had imagined the Prince to be Nathan. She loved the way he politely talked to his team. He was a handsome and hardworking man.

"Jesus!" Sharon sighed.

"Arey bro! Why are you sighing? This means that there's someone in our office who likes you. Who's been looking after you", Alia said, pulling Sharon's cheeks.


"Does he like me or is he stalking me?", Sharon said in a disturbed tone.

She was sitting on the bench under the huge tree. Its extensive branches covered few more benches around. The park was a hangout place for teenagers. It was a playground for children and a perfect site for the exercise enthusiasts. People jogged, wearing headphones, determined to shed those extra kilos and be fitter, sticking to their new year resolutions, was a familiar sight here.  Yuga wasn't feeling the vibe today. She had left home as usual, early in the morning, in her tracks and tee to run a few miles, but after three rounds she just sat down on the bench. She saw an old lady taking rounds, walking slowly, but with vigour. The tree was shedding it's aged golden leaves. One such tanned foliole fell beside Yuga on the bench.  "You've to score good grades at school!" "You've to do your Olympiads!" "You need to have a co-curricular activity or some sports activity!" "You should be able to dance or sing or play a musical instrument!" Oh my my! So much pressure on these little one's learning to adapt and traverse the lanes and by lanes of this complicated world. "But its a rat race! He/she needs to figure it out sooner. Studies, career, universities, the stress builds up as they advance into their grades (classes), isn't it?" Yes, true. It's a tough task for the coming generations. Population is ever increasing. Even though the colleges and courses are increasing in numbers but we have no say on the quality of education they impart. Also the leading universities and colleges are always the first priority, obviously. So the newbies are looked down upon. Also the reservations hinder the paths of many. Well, so what score is a good enough score...
