And he took over her, from the blind side.....

Rekha was a cheerful and homely girl. She always wanted to be happy and content, even in small things, in small achievements. She worked hard to help her family to sustain in difficult economic conditions. She also helped old people or needy ones around, with whatever she could. She was always on her toes!

Rekha met Randeep during a sight visit, related to her work. Randeep was a charmer, often, he used to beguile people around him. Randeep had all the qualities of a family man. Randeep made Rekha to fall for him, by his polite behaviour, his sweet talks, his mannerisms.

Randeep proposed to her and also got the consent from her family, and they both decided to get married.

Rekha was happy, she had started weaving her dreams, of becoming a good wife. She had always imagined of getting married, having a happy family, a small house of their own.

They both got married, in a simple yet elegant celebration. Rekha had made a fixed deposit of 3 lakhs for her marriage,  but Randeep had suggested a registered marriage, to save money for future.

First few months after marriage were pleasant for Rekha. Randeep used to get Jasmine gajra for her, while returning from office. Occasionally he used to drop her to her job and sometimes surprise her by going to pick her up too. He treated her family with love and care. Rekha felt fortunate to have made a right decision of marrying Randeep.

But after sometime, things changed. Randeep kept asking about the fixed deposit. He said, he wanted to start a business, so required investment for it.

Randeep was actually an opportunistic. He wanted to soar heights, climb higher in his life. He never liked his minimal status and always thrived to be better, whether by hook or crook. He had been involved in frauds and money laundering. He just wanted to be rich, by any means.

Rekha was unaware of Randeep's motive, all this time.

Randeep had targeted her, upon knowing she has a Fixed deposit of 3 lakhs, in her bank account. He had planned to marry her, get the money and then fly away.

One such day, he persuaded Rekha to sign on the withdrawal slip, by his sweet talks. He had promised to start a family. Rekha fell prey to his tactics once again. The desire to be a mother, bemused her and she signed. She was too naïve and gullible, she overlooked the bad in everything. Randeep took over from the blind side and pushed her into regrets!

Moira : Bound to happen! Chapter - 1.

She was sitting on the bench under the huge tree. Its extensive branches covered few more benches around. The park was a hangout place for teenagers. It was a playground for children and a perfect site for the exercise enthusiasts. People jogged, wearing headphones, determined to shed those extra kilos and be fitter, sticking to their new year resolutions, was a familiar sight here.  Yuga wasn't feeling the vibe today. She had left home as usual, early in the morning, in her tracks and tee to run a few miles, but after three rounds she just sat down on the bench.  "You've to score good grades at school!" "You've to do your Olympiads!" "You need to have a co-curricular activity or some sports activity!" "You should be able to dance or sing or play a musical instrument!" Oh my my! So much pressure on these little one's learning to adapt and traverse the lanes and by lanes of this complicated world. "But its a rat race! He/she needs to figure it out sooner. Studies, career, universities, the stress builds up as they advance into their grades (classes), isn't it?" Yes, true. It's a tough task for the coming generations. Population is ever increasing. Even though the colleges and courses are increasing in numbers but we have no say on the quality of education they impart. Also the leading universities and colleges are always the first priority, obviously. So the newbies are looked down upon. Also the reservations hinder the paths of many. Well, so what score is a good enough score...
