Where dreams dwelve - Part 3.
There could be hundred reasons to not like something, but even a few can make you adhere to that thing, clinging emotionally or rationally! ~ Jui Purohit.
My house converts into an Island in monsoons. I know you, must be thinking it's so scary! Yes it is.
My living room becomes a swimming pool. It's heart wrenching to see my well decorated home in this state.
Cleaning all this and making my house, again, into an inhabitable abode, is a DARE we as family always accept, for, the TRUTH is what we can't disregard.
But placing bijou elements around my house gives me a peace of mind....and that's what a home is for, right?
A dream catcher, to take away the worries and bless my house with assurance.
A wind-chime, to fill in, with it's decrescendo, the aggregate of my house. Spreading positivity, tranquil and soothing unnecessary thoughts.
This swing is a blissful spot in my house. We all swing in here, contemplating over our dreams. Swinging, to relax, breathe in some fresh air and observe the manoeuvres around us in solitude.
My kids love the TV room in our house. They enjoy, giggle, scream, hoot, when watching their favourite shows. They love our courtyard, where they play, jump and just bolt around. Watching them do all this brings smile to my face.
Our living room is a hot spot for family members to get together and converse....heart to heart. Be it politics, be it gossips, be it celebrating something or just mundane matters. Talking it out, discussing, makes it way better.
Every house has it's own placid, halcyon, motivating, triggering spaces.
From, coming home from work apoplectic, to calming yourself with a cup of tea/coffee, freshly brewed in your kitchen, with warmth of your loved ones, is what is the true essence of being at home!
Whatever hardships you face, you belong here....it's your HOME!
Hope you like my attempt at this series.
