As virgin as you can be!

 



The 40 year old virgin that I know, is truly a virgin in many walks of her life....

She's my friend, sometimes philosopher, sometimes my guide!

She's a personality by herself.....

Never under anyone's influence,

I call her virgin, not because she's untouched,

But, cause she radiates that innocence!

Do I know her in and out?

Well don't know, actually I doubt!

Hmmmmm.....Let me get to know her, more...with all of you, through this blog.

I met her, one fine day, when I was lost, no, not physically, but mentally.  She asked me if I needed her help. I said I don't know you, how can I get help from a stranger?.... She smiled and said Then be my friend!....

I sort of felt weird, a total stranger asking to be friends? Then, she read my facial expressions, I guess, and smirked, saying I am a 40 year old virgin! I got some more doubtful.....A virgin? Why is she specifying this? What does she want?.....

She said I want you to not forget me! 

Wait, now she can read my mind? I got scared....Are you a magician....or...or...a hypnotist....wait, are you even human??? Now that was getting scarier.....

Ummmm....Yah! May be!, she said.

Yeah! Right, at 40, who in this world is a virgin? I blurted aloud.

She Psst....Psst.... over my judgmental words. That's why I am here, to let you not forget your pure, virgin, selfless, unbiased version!

Wait! Am I drunk? Am I hallucinating? Why me?

Because deep down, in your heart you still care, you feel sad when you can't reach your loved ones in need, you feel helpless when you see a victim facing injustice, you feel the pain when someone else is in pain! I have seen it all....But somewhere you are losing that lateral of yours...You are going with the wrong flow...You are letting yourself get away from doing good....You are changing...You need an introspection dear!

Ah! I think I know you. You are the unadulterated me...are you? 

Am glad....at least you are aware! Hope you don't obliterate the immaculate you....that's me...!

She was sitting on the bench under the huge tree. Its extensive branches covered few more benches around. The park was a hangout place for teenagers. It was a playground for children and a perfect site for the exercise enthusiasts. People jogged, wearing headphones, determined to shed those extra kilos and be fitter, sticking to their new year resolutions, was a familiar sight here.  Yuga wasn't feeling the vibe today. She had left home as usual, early in the morning, in her tracks and tee to run a few miles, but after three rounds she just sat down on the bench.  "You've to score good grades at school!" "You've to do your Olympiads!" "You need to have a co-curricular activity or some sports activity!" "You should be able to dance or sing or play a musical instrument!" Oh my my! So much pressure on these little one's learning to adapt and traverse the lanes and by lanes of this complicated world. "But its a rat race! He/she needs to figure it out sooner. Studies, career, universities, the stress builds up as they advance into their grades (classes), isn't it?" Yes, true. It's a tough task for the coming generations. Population is ever increasing. Even though the colleges and courses are increasing in numbers but we have no say on the quality of education they impart. Also the leading universities and colleges are always the first priority, obviously. So the newbies are looked down upon. Also the reservations hinder the paths of many. Well, so what score is a good enough score...
