Moira : Bound to happen! Chapter 6.
"What are you looking for Yuga?", Sameer asked, stepping close to her. Yuga's mom walked close too.
"Moira!", Yuga mumbled as she scurried to cross the road without even looking for the vehicles.
"Moira?", Sameer mumbled too.
"Yuga stop! Look out for the speeding cars", mom shouted.
But Yuga, as if pulled into annulus under a spell, crossed the road unbothered. She reached the other side and a loud honk of a car brought her to senses. She gathered herself. "What happened to me?", Yuga thought as she stood in front of Nirav. The people who were with Nirav had left by then.
Nirav was stunned. Yuga looked beautiful with her hair swaying in the light breeze. The flowy blue dress gave her a distinct look. It wasn't very contrasting than the morning look but it was something different. Nevertheless not that different that he couldn't recognise her.
"Hey! Yu...Yuga right? Strange, we meet again! Are you okay? I hope you didn't get much injured in the morning. Did the kind old lady give you the water bottle? ", Nirav said with the same genuine twinkle in his eyes.
Yuga stood there baffled. By the time, Sameer and her mom also rushed across to be with Yuga.
"Yash!", mom cried out, as she looked at Nirav.
"He has the same face but not the voice", Yuga said in an insipid tone.
Sameer equally shocked, put his hand on Yuga's shoulder and patted lightly. "Moira!", Sameer's mind echoed Yuga's words. "Yuga are you alright?", he asked in a concerned voice.
Nirav couldn't apprehend the situation. "Did she get hurt in the morning?", Nirav inquired looking at Sameer and mom.
"Did you both meet in the morning Yuga?", mom asked, still in a state of shock, trying to make sense of Yuga's condition in the morning. Yuga blacked out and was about to fall when Nirav rushed to hold her. But Sameer desisted his move and held Yuga by her arms.
"We should take her to the hospital? In the morning, I got a call from home so had to rush. I couldn't help her much, I am sorry for that", Nirav said as he stepped behind.
"Thankyou for your help", mom said, softly, while caressing Yuga's head.
And before she could say any further, Sameer interrupted, "Thankyou for that but we will manage from here. You can carry on with your work. You are dressed in a suit so I suppose you have some urgent matters to attend to". Sameer's tone was mildly impertinent.
"Well, I have wrapped up my work for the day. I will accompany you. In the morning I felt guilty for leaving her abruptly. Please let me join you", Nirav's voice sounded honest.
They took her to the nearest hospital. Mom was with Yuga, inside the consulting room. While Sameer and Nirav waited in the lobby.
"She was running besides me in the morning and when I glanced at her she collapsed all of a sudden. I thought she tripped. But I guess she is not feeling well, maybe.....", Nirav was explaining to Sameer. And Sameer cut him off, "Oh! So Yuga saw you in the morning and collapsed, she didn't trip".
"She did not tell you this? Actually I am concerned. I mean, Why would she see me and collapse? I don't know her. Does she know me? Or am I that ugly?", Nirav tried to make the atmosphere lighter. But Sameer's silence didn't help.
"Crazy things are happening since morning. Please clarify what's going on?", Nirav continued, now sounding serious.
"I guess it's the heat. Or dehydration maybe", Sameer tried to coverup. Sameer scanned Nirav's face keenly, "He looks so much like Yash", he thought.
The atmosphere in the lobby had become rather grave.
Something is getting clearer now. Or more surprises in store
