 Tara stepped out of the elevator, equally stunned to see Akash. 

"Akash!", she exclaimed.

"Hi! What brings you here Tara?", he asked excitedly. 

Tara looked at the person standing besides him. The man looked at Akash and then to Tara and gestured her to walk towards the office, as he started to move ahead.

Tara's face slumped a bit. "Akash I've to go. I'm sorry but can we talk some other time?", she said as she rushed to catch pace with that man. She dragged her trolley bag hastily along. 

"Is she being threatened? Is she in trouble?" Akash pondered standing there as he saw her leaving. "Should I ask? No. This is a commercial place. I cannot create a scene here. It will affect my work too. She should be here for a job or something. But she seems young, like a college girl. I guess, I shouldn't cross my boundaries. It's her personal affair", his brain kept arguing with his heart.

Akash descended to the ground floor. But in his mind kept thinking about Tara. Sudden sound at the reception broke his chain of thoughts. He looked around few people were quarrelling amongst themselves. The employees were asking them to maintain the decorum. The employees then told the people that they are at the wrong address and that they should leave immediately. 

Akash came to his senses, "Hah! I should call my partner. He must be waiting to know", Akash said to himself. 

He sat down on the sofa, in the lobby and called his business partner. He discussed everything that was talked over with Mrs. Agarwal. He said he was positive about getting the deal signed. 

Akash sat there for sometime. In his mind he was still deliberating, whether to wait for Tara or to leave. He couldn't make up his mind and he thought of leaving. 

Akash asked the receptionist whether there was a decent hotel around to stay for few days. She gave him the directions and said that it was just a walk away. 

Akash exited the company building. He turned back once and glanced at the 2nd floor. "I hope Tara is okay", he thought.

Moira : Bound to happen! Chapter - 1.

She was sitting on the bench under the huge tree. Its extensive branches covered few more benches around. The park was a hangout place for teenagers. It was a playground for children and a perfect site for the exercise enthusiasts. People jogged, wearing headphones, determined to shed those extra kilos and be fitter, sticking to their new year resolutions, was a familiar sight here.  Yuga wasn't feeling the vibe today. She had left home as usual, early in the morning, in her tracks and tee to run a few miles, but after three rounds she just sat down on the bench. She saw an old lady taking rounds, walking slowly, but with vigour. The tree was shedding it's aged golden leaves. One such tanned foliole fell beside Yuga on the bench.  "You've to score good grades at school!" "You've to do your Olympiads!" "You need to have a co-curricular activity or some sports activity!" "You should be able to dance or sing or play a musical instrument!" Oh my my! So much pressure on these little one's learning to adapt and traverse the lanes and by lanes of this complicated world. "But its a rat race! He/she needs to figure it out sooner. Studies, career, universities, the stress builds up as they advance into their grades (classes), isn't it?" Yes, true. It's a tough task for the coming generations. Population is ever increasing. Even though the colleges and courses are increasing in numbers but we have no say on the quality of education they impart. Also the leading universities and colleges are always the first priority, obviously. So the newbies are looked down upon. Also the reservations hinder the paths of many. Well, so what score is a good enough score...
