Tune into Love: 11. Epilogue.

 Outside the cafe, Neil stood leaning against his parked car. The sky was already dusky. He, being despondent stared at Neha's number on his phone, 'My destiny' he read aloud and pressed the call button. He put his phone on speaker as he knew it would ring endlessly. "Hello", Neil heard a strange voice on the other side. Flabbergasted, he turned off the speaker mode and put the phone to his ear, "Who is this?", he asked. The man said that he is a cab driver and Neha had left the phone in his cab, "From this number there were numerous calls, so I wanted to call back but the phone is locked. When you called again, I finally picked up", the driver said. He added, he wanted to return the phone but was busy for the day.


Neil breathed a sigh of relief. Atleast it was verified that earlier Neha hadn't ignored his calls. He asked the driver his whereabouts and left to get the phone back.

Neil turned on the engine and drove. He was halfway and the fuel indicator started to beep. Neil was frustrated, why was the day so long?. He quickly turned the car to the petrol station, filled the tank and drove again. 

He reached the destination and got the phone back. He thanked the driver and paid him for returning the phone back.


He once again called Neha's phone, it flashed 'Serendipity'. Neil was delighted to see it and grinned happily. He drove back to the dorm. He parked his car and as he walked to the gates, he heard someone calling him, "Neil, Neil". He turned around, it was Neha. "I am sorry", she said, with tears in her eyes. Her hair were messy, shoulders drooping, her pink dress was creased, but she still looked beautiful. 


"Baby, I'm dancing in the dark with you between my arms,

Barefoot on the grass, listening to our favourite song,

When you said you looked a mess, 

I whispered underneath my breath, 

But you heard it, darling you look perfect tonight....." (Perfect by Ed Sheeran).


Neil, equally exhausted, smiled at Neha. Neha once again said, "Neil I am sorry about today. I.....". Neil handed over her phone. Neha was confused. Neil laughed, "My destiny, I am glad to know, I'm your Serendipity", he said and hugged her. Neha felt abashed. 

He asked her to sit in the car. Neil said, "Let's go to the café and calmly, sit and talk".


They reached the café, the board outside read,

"Let's 'Tune into Love! 

Today's special - Love potion Cappuccino served with your favourite love song!

They ordered some hot cappuccino. Neha told Neil everything that had happened, Neil clarified everything he had been wanting to. They both cried, laughed and rhapsodized about their life up until now.


Their requested song played, as they tuned into love....

"Baby, I'm dancing in the dark with you between my arms, 

Barefoot on the grass, listening to our favourite song, 

I have faith in what I see,

Now I know I have met an angel in person, 

And she looks perfect,

I don't deserve this

You look perfect tonight!"

Moira : Bound to happen! Chapter - 1.

She was sitting on the bench under the huge tree. Its extensive branches covered few more benches around. The park was a hangout place for teenagers. It was a playground for children and a perfect site for the exercise enthusiasts. People jogged, wearing headphones, determined to shed those extra kilos and be fitter, sticking to their new year resolutions, was a familiar sight here.  Yuga wasn't feeling the vibe today. She had left home as usual, early in the morning, in her tracks and tee to run a few miles, but after three rounds she just sat down on the bench.  "You've to score good grades at school!" "You've to do your Olympiads!" "You need to have a co-curricular activity or some sports activity!" "You should be able to dance or sing or play a musical instrument!" Oh my my! So much pressure on these little one's learning to adapt and traverse the lanes and by lanes of this complicated world. "But its a rat race! He/she needs to figure it out sooner. Studies, career, universities, the stress builds up as they advance into their grades (classes), isn't it?" Yes, true. It's a tough task for the coming generations. Population is ever increasing. Even though the colleges and courses are increasing in numbers but we have no say on the quality of education they impart. Also the leading universities and colleges are always the first priority, obviously. So the newbies are looked down upon. Also the reservations hinder the paths of many. Well, so what score is a good enough score...
